Executive Summary

inGOV is a project aiming to provide innovative ICT-supported governance models as well as mobile apps including chatbots, which will enable stakeholders’ collaboration in co-producing inclusive and accessible Integrated Public Services (IPS) thus increasing trust and satisfaction.

This report is the Data Management Plan (DMP) made available in month six (June 2021). It presents a short, general outline of the project policy for data management (i.e. collecting and sharing procedures), including the issues of outlining the types of data already generated and/or foreseen to be generated at this stage of the project; outlining the procedures that will be followed to assess the generated/collected data with respect to their sensitiveness; outlining the data acquisition plan for the duration of the project and finally outlining the measures that are foreseen for the adequate management of the data from the ethical and security points of view.

The described policy herein reflects the current state of consortium agreements regarding data management and is consistent with those referring to exploitation and protection of results and can also be considered as a checklist for the future. Moreover, the different aspects of making data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Re-usable (FAIR) are presented.

It is intended that the present DMP is updated over the course of the project, whenever significant changes arise either with respect to the data management practices of individual partners or at project level. Note that a detailed description of the data management practices concerning -in particular-processing of personal data in the context of the piloting activities is provided under WP8 Ethics Requirements deliverables, also, due in M6 of inGOV project.

The report has been developed following the Horizon additional guidance from the joint OpenAIRE Management Plan1and the EUDAT webinar “How to write a Data Plan” 2 (Open AIRE and EUDAT, 2018). Open access (OA) is understood as the free, online provision of re-useable scientific information to other users.
