Work packages

Our entire work is divided into eight well-rounded and defined work packages. That way, we could organise our deliverables and timeframes with more efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, we invite you to browse around and explore all our work packages to learn more about their goals, deliverables, and expectations.

Ethics

Objectives

  • The objective is to ensure compliance with the ‘ethics requirements’ set out in this work package.

Description of work

The inGOV project provides innovative ICT-supported governance models as well as mobile apps including chatbots, which will enable stakeholders’ collaboration in co-producing inclusive and accessible Integrated Public Services (IPS) thus increasing trust, reliability, transparency and satisfaction. For that purpose, multidisciplinary scientific methods will be used including design science, multiple case study and variants of the technology acceptance model.

The inGOV consortium values ethics and integrity, ensures data privacy and confidentiality, and complies with EU regulations. We apply a strict personal data treatment policy and ensure that all appropriate measures are taken to protect your personal data and to safeguard your rights. When collecting data, we make sure that we collect only the data which is necessary to the performance of the services and the purpose of the project, according to the data minimisation principle (article 5 (1) (c) of the GDPR) [1] . Furthermore, the principles of accuracy, storage limitation and accountability are being taken into serious consideration in advance.

How is data secured

Data collected during the project, including during pilot phases, is stored on a secured repository which is compliant with GDPR standards. When we share data, it is anonymized and shared with entities which are part of the inGOV project and/or approved by the European Commission as recipient of the data.

How do we protect your rights?

You have the right to know the data we hold that concerns you and its detail. You are also able to access it and make any necessary changes, according to the right to rectification (article 16 of the GDPR) [2]. Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to oppose the use of this data, according to the right of erasure (to be forgotten), article 17 of the GDPR [3].

To demand your rights, you can contact the inGOV’s Ethics Manager, Ms. Georgia Livieri – [email protected].
